Back in Five Campaign

Friday August 25th

My name is Sean Quish, and I am a representative of the ‘Back in Five campaign, an initiative aimed to address a critical social issue in kilmallock impacting people with disabilities and wheelchair users as part of my Gaisce program.

I believe that with your support, we can make a difference in the lives of those who face daily accessibility challenges in our community.

The ‘Back in Five’ campaign is dedicated to raising awareness about Vehicles parked improperly in spaces that obstruct access on pavements, sidewalks disable access ramps and other essential pathways. These obstructions prevent my friends and I and other people with disabilities and wheel chairs user from being able to move around the neighbourhood safely and with relative ease, negatively impacting our quality of life.

As a prominent and well respected business in our community, I think it would be incredibly valuable to collaborate with you to highlight this issue. I would be grateful if you can support the campaign on Friday 26th August 2023 for a day of awareness, where we will employ various activities and information sharing sessions to increase public mindfulness of the challenges faced by with disabilities when the encounter obstructions on their path.

Your support will include displaying posters or flyers in your store and promoting the event on your special media channels or even hosting a brief information session for your customers to educate them on the importance of accessibility.

Together we can make a positive change and foster a more accessible community.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my request and look forward to the potential of collaborating in ensuring a more accessible future in Kilmallock.

Yours sincerely

Sean Quish
